RIS3 Support to Lagging Regions Project

Evaluation of the technology transfer capacity and entrepreneurial profile of Romanian universities
The core aims of the JRC RIS3 Support to Lagging Regions project are to provide concrete support to the implementation of RIS3s in selected low-growth and less developed regions in EU member states and to develop a cross-cutting approach to key issues regarding growth and governance in those regions.
ACEEU's Role: Consultancy project
ACEEU provided an evaluation of six Romanian universities and highlighted next steps to advance their technology transfer performance and entrepreneurial profile. The evaluation has been performed for the European Commission's Joint Research Centre. In addition to six individual reports for each university, a summary report has been created informing the ministry in Bucharest about the general situation and recommended steps to support universities in their transition towards greater impact generation through technology transfer and entrepreneurship.
