MOOW CODE PILOT UNIVERSITY STAFF WORKSHOP HOSTED BY ACEEU

The MOOW CODE project seeks to strengthen institutional capacity to organize large-scale multifaceted digital learning events to address the need to improve mental well-being in higher education institutions and promote sustainable digital education in universities.

A 2-Day Pilot University Staff Workshop, as part of the learning, teaching, or training activity of the MOOW CODE project was organized and hosted by ACEEU from 7th-8th December 2022 in Münster, Germany. Sixteen participants of the workshop were representatives of academic units whose academic and research work is related to the MOOW topic and will be involved in the organization and implementation of Pilot MOOW 1 in project partner institutions including the University of Economics in Katowice, Riga Technical University and University of Naples Federico II.

During the workshop, partners discussed the MOOW CODE concept and Framework and were introduced to the MOOW online platform. An exciting but crucial part of the workshop was representatives of academic units from all three institutions engaged in a MOOW Design activity using the MOOW Design Canvas to strategically generate the necessary ideas on how they wanted to shape their MOOW events in their respective institutions in terms of the topic of the core student target group, desired learning outcomes, time allocation for the MOOW week, student assessment requirements and content among others.
