01. August 2017
We are pleased to announce that ACEEU has been accepted as a Full Member of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE). INQAAHE, established in 1991, is the worldwide umbrella organisation for Quality Assurance Agencies in higher education, with more than 200 Quality Assurance Agencies (QAA) in higher education being members of the organisation.
The central purpose and role of INQAAHE is to promote and advance excellence in higher education through the support of an active international community of quality assurance agencies. In order to achieve this goal, the network focuses on the development of the theory and practice of quality assurance, the exchange and understanding of the policies and actions of its members, and the promotion of quality assurance for the benefit of higher education, institutions, students and society at large.
“ACEEU has been set up to promote the highest standards in entrepreneurship and engagement in higher education. Being accepted as a full member of INQAAHE is a recognition of our past work, and the future exchange with other members will enable us to continue driving quality and excellence.”, stated ACEEU Chair Professor Thorsten Kliewe.
