Autumn is Awards Season at ACEEU! We understand that recognition and awareness are key factors in changing the traditional culture of higher education (Majeed, S., 2024). ACEEU’s quality standards – including incentives and rewards, staff profile, and leadership – and the annual Triple E Awards are key ways we are taking action to promote new ideas and best practices in higher education. Rock Your Research transforms HEIs into hubs of social value by uniting artists, researchers, and citizens. Through dialogue, mapping, and labs, RYR advances the Third Mission, challenges traditional academic culture, and aligns with ACEEU’s drive to reward innovation.

ACEEU’s accreditation and events both promote and reward quality standards in higher education. This year's Triple E Awards once again highlighted how universities worldwide are transforming higher education through entrepreneurship, engagement, and societal impact.
Accreditations Announced
These universities are setting the standards for higher education! ACEEU is proud to announce two new engaged university accreditations: Medical University of Gdańsk (Poland) and La Salle Ramon Llull University (Spain), as well as two new entrepreneurial university accreditations: Telkom University (Indonesia) and University of Szeged (Hungary).
With 77 finalists across 19 categories, the Triple E Awards celebrated the very best — and we proudly congratulate this year’s winners for setting new benchmarks of excellence. The Forum carried this momentum forward, uniting 150+ participants from 40+ countries, a powerful reminder of what happens when diverse voices come together to share insights and spark collaboration.

Professor Umesh Ramnarain is empowering South African youth in XR coding and entrepreneurship through free, self-paced online courses with hands-on projects at CALTSTEAM. These impactful internal support structures are helping to bridge the digital divide.
Associate Professor Victoria Kain and her team are innovating practical, scalable solutions to improve newborn survival in underserved communities. Turning research into innovation, they created the mobile app HBB Prompt to reinforce healthcare workers’ lifesaving skills.
