ACEEU's Net Zero Goal

Alternate. Moderate. Compensate.
While the world is working together to achieve the 17 SDGs goal, Europe has added a layer to the agenda by focusing more efforts to combat global warming and creating the 2015 Paris Agreement. The agreement specifically sets its goal to limit global warming to well below 2 degrees Celsius while aiming for a limit of 1.5 degrees Celsius. To achieve this goal and avoid exceedingly dangerous levels of global warming requires cutting greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) in half by 2030 and reaching net-zero GHG emissions early by 2050.
Our ambition
The three keywords briefly explain ACEEU’s commitment to achieving its Net-Zero goal. ACEEU sets out its NET-ZERO goals not only to play its role in the UN Race to the Net-Zero but also to inspire other accreditation councils and HEIs to take part in limiting global warming.
