In the first phase, academic units apply for eligiblity and the administrative work is being done for the process (e.g. signing the accreditation contract)
In the second phase, academic units perform a self-analysis and get an initial evaluation report from the appointed accreditation committee that overlooks the accreditation.
Following self-evaluation, a 3-person strong Peer Review Team visits the applicant to evaluate the facilities and meet with a wide variety of stakeholders, including HEI leadership, academics, support staff, students and ecosystem partners.
In the last phase, all documented material is reviewed by the Accreditation Committee to reach a decision on whether or not accreditation is granted.
