4 phases with 20 clearly defined steps

Accreditation Process

Going through main 4-step journey, institutional accreditation is a comprehensive undertaking supported by more than 40 experts from university leadership, academia and industry.

1. APPLICATION

In the first phase, academic units apply for eligiblity and the administrative work is being done for the process (e.g. signing the accreditation contract)

2. SELF-EVALUATION

In the second phase, academic units perform a self-analysis and get an initial evaluation report from the appointed accreditation committee that overlooks the accreditation.

3. PEER VISIT

Following self-evaluation, a 3-person strong Peer Review Team visits the applicant to evaluate the facilities and meet with a wide variety of stakeholders, including HEI leadership, academics, support staff, students and ecosystem partners.

4. FINAL EVALUATION

In the last phase, all documented material is reviewed by the Accreditation Committee to reach a decision on whether or not accreditation is granted.
