HEDY Project

Life in the AI Era
Hedy aspires to be a free and open-source of information concerning the digital technologies of the 4th industrial revolution (Industry 4.0), enlightening potential positive future applications while highlighting potential impacts, such as threats to the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) and democracy. Hedy aims to provide the perfect framework for innovation, once combining creativity, variety, and expertise; to propose the use of technologies to raise awareness of life in the digital age and to develop skills to enjoy the benefits but also face the challenges that this new age offers. In order to achieve Hedy’s main objectives, five complementing partners (2 institutions and 3 SMEs) from five different EU countries will collaborate to establish a solid foundation for the Hedy outcomes to be usable by a larger community of practice network; to provide open educational resources in AI-related topics to the intended audience. The main practices to be implemented include the development of AI audio-visual related tools, including films & expert talks, a massive open online course to promote extensive knowledge, critical reflection and debate on AI and its key impact on society (business, governance, skills and daily life), covering the main and future progress of AI Guidelines: easy-to-read guidelines for: 1) use the MOOC; 2) further use of Toolkit; 3) create a MOOC for the first time.
ACEEU's Role: Quality assurance and impact evaluation leader; co-developer of project Results
ACEEU as the leader of the project’s quality assurance (QA), will ensure that the project runs on time and is of high quality through external evaluation. ACEEU will assess internal peer reviews and conduct regular feedbacks. In each Result, ACEEU will examine the success factors, major challenges, and opportunities. The evaluation process will be based on the KPIs established in the QA Plan.
