In recent months, the academic partners of the WeRin Project have been leading the pilot testing stages across Europe. The "Breaking Barriers and Unlocking Horizons: Inclusive Entrepreneurship 101 WeRin Workshop" was conducted in Ireland, Germany, the Netherlands, Croatia, and Turkey.
These workshops aimed to evaluate and refine the WeRin Toolbox, WeRLearning Approach, and WeRin Knowledge Port, fostering a more inclusive entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Each workshop was tailored to the specific context of the hosting country, resulting in successful, positively received sessions by a diverse group of participants. For instance, Munster Technological University in Ireland and the University of Zagreb in Croatia both conducted pilot test sessions, drawing valuable insights from the participation of women entrepreneurs and educators. In Germany, FH Münster University of Applied Sciences hosted the inaugural Women's Empowerment Convention, featuring workshops piloted by WeRin resources focusing on the "Inclusive Finance" Principle. These sessions employed real-life examples to connect participants to the resources, receiving high satisfaction feedback. The Netherlands also played a role, with the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences conducting a workshop for the Minor "Startup your business in Technology."
While ACEEU, as the quality assurance partner, did not directly engage in piloting these workshops since they were exclusive to academic partners, they are set to lead the quality assurance reporting of these pilot tests.
The sessions held across Europe have provided valuable feedback for the improvement of WeRin resources. Although each session was executed differently, they all highlighted the significant interest and impact of the subject in the entrepreneurial community. This has confirmed WeRin's position in shaping an inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem.
