ACEEU joins the Russian Rectors Conference and IREG as associate partner in hosting the "International Third Mission Conference", to be held from Nov 29 to Dec 1, 2018 in Moscow, Russia. The event is an international forum discussing the third mission of universities, especially with respect to the a social contributions that higher education is expected to make.
"Russia is putting a lot of emphasis on the development of world-class universities. We are looking forward to working with universities in Russia to develop their third mission so that the universities are not only performing well in research-based rankings but also contribute to social and economic development", states Prof. Dr. Thorsten Kliewe, Chair of ACEEU.
