SHIFT - ESG Impact Index in Higher Education
SHIFT aims at increasing the capacity of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to contribute to SDGs by assessing and implementing ESG strategies and policies through the ESG Impact Index platform, it will equip Higher Education institutions' students, academics, researchers and staff with the necessary skills and knowledge to implement and monitor ESG practices and reinforcing transnational cooperation by facilitating the sharing of best practices and knowledge among HEIs. The main project result is the ESG Impact Index Open-Access Platform which is a comprehensive tool for higher education institutions to implement and monitor their environmental, social, and governance standards and practices, whioch will be complemented by training and awareness programs, the HEI certification program and a series of communication activities.
ACEEU's Role:
Development of a new certification program, potentially leading to increased demand for their accreditation services and expanded recognition as a leader in sustainability in higher education At the local, regional, national, and European levels, other groups and organizations will benefit from the project. For instance, the project will provide a certification program that ACEEU can incorporate into its accreditation portfolio, contributing to a more comprehensive and rigorous accreditation system for ESG performance.
