ACEEU is happy to announce the official start of the PAGES project!
Following the kick off meeting that took place in Berlin, Germany, the PAGES consortium has begun its tasks in developing the first project result of the project. Co-funded by the European Commission, the PAGES project brings together 6 institutions, namely: Arabisch Deutsches Center für Dialog e. V. (Germany), Aproximar- Cooperativa De Solidariedade Social Crl (Portugal), Kadin ve Genc Girisim Merkezi Dernegi - Woman and Young Entrepreneurship Centre Association (Turkey), European Association for Social Inovation (Romania) , SOSU OSTJYLLAND (Denmark), Verein der Akademie für Bildung, Culture, Kunst, Jugend und Sport der Europäischen Union (Austria), and ACEEU.
The ultimate goal of the project is to counteract AGEism for a Europe open to all. According to the first project results, partners are expected to prepare and launch a campaign on awareness for interpersonal and self-directed ageism as well as create training materials to support adult educators & community workers in motivating and engaging older adults on learning.
