In the pipeline for Ethical Engineer: development of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) guidelines for the suite of six modular and flexible Open Educational Resources (OERs). ACEEU is creating these guidelines alongside EUEI to ensure the OERs for teachers are inclusive, accessible, and reflective of diverse learner needs. Rooted in real-world applications and aligned with the EU’s “Ethics Guidelines for Trustworthy AI,” these resources support educators in integrating ethics into AI and robotics engineering. The guidelines will address language and imagery, formal and informal learning spaces, and educational technologies. As part of quality assurance, DEI considerations will further guide internal and external testing, helping ensure the resources are effective and relevant for individuals of all backgrounds and abilities.
