How can we strengthen digital water education and innovation ecosystems in Europe? This and several other questions were discussed at the WATERLINE latest online workshop on Policy Guidelines for Digital Water conducted by the partner, SiTes (Sustainable Innovation Technology Services).
ACEEU, together with several stakeholders, including academics and industry professionals from the water sectors, joined the session to reflect on and validate proposed policies and guidelines to foster digital water education and innovation ecosystems.
Discussions centered around four main clusters:
- Network of emulative centres
- Digital water higher education institution (HEIs) alliance consolidation
- Educational policies and curricula
- Regional specialisation
For each of the clusters, participants were presented with a set of justifications, guidelines, policy linkages, and action steps, and asked to provide feedback on their relevance through interactive discussions and digital feedback (Mentimeter).
As an expert organisation in supporting HEIs on their road to third mission excellence through entrepreneurship and engagement, ACEEU, acting both as a project partner and Quality Assurance expert in the WATERLINE project, was pleased to participate in the workshop and provide its feedback on the proposed guidelines and recommendations, supporting the WATERLINE project goal to create a European Digital Water HEI Alliance based on the quadruple helix model of innovation.
Stay up to date on the WATERLINE project!
