The EPiCS consortium came together in the heart of Stockholm, Sweden for an inspiring and highly productive TPM! Consortium partners, travelling from seven different countries reunited in person, bringing together a rich diversity of perspectives, expertise, and energy.
During the meeting, coordinated by ACEEU and hosted by V&A, partners made substantial progress and defined concrete operational steps toward the completion of key activities, such as the development of the ambitious AI-driven version of the EPiCS MOOC, which will be soon accessible on the EPiCS platform. The level of alignment and shared commitment across partners gave strong confidence for the next stages of implementation.
Beyond the technical progress, the real value of the TPM was in the reconnection. After months of online collaboration, meeting face to face reignited a strong sense of trust, motivation, and collective accountability. The TPM was hosted at the beautiful Nordic Museum, where participants also enjoyed a guided visit of a fascinating historical exhibition. This cultural experience added a special layer to the meeting, allowing partners to connect not only through work, but also through shared discovery of Swedish history and traditions.
Overall, the conversations were dynamic, open, and full of ideas, reinforcing what makes EPiCS so powerful and collaboration-driven. Partners also reflected on the wider impact and ambition of EPiCS: the project is about building new bridges between universities, students, and local communities through citizen science, research service learning, and participatory approaches, a deeply relevant topic for the future of higher education and the connection of academia and society.
