From Failed Start-ups to Future Change makers: START-DSP Tool in Action in Łódź

How can future entrepreneurs avoid repeating others’ mistakes? At Lodz University of Technology, ACEEU brought the START-DSP “CSI: Failed Startups Division” tool to more than 20 international students in the EDU4SDGs Change makers programmer, helping them learn what failed ventures teach about responsible entrepreneurship.

Acting as “CSI agents”, students investigated well-known failed start-ups, identified root causes and red flags, and linked their findings to the Sustainable Development Goals. Peer assessment pushed them to question evidence and sharpen their arguments.

The workshop showed the value of START-DSP results beyond the partnership: by combining START-DSP, PEERCOLLAB and EDU4SDGs, ACEEU created a learning experience that builds critical thinking and responsible entrepreneurial mindsets. The tool is freely available in the Entrepreneurial University Toolbox.
