The Compendium of Good Practices on Student Engagement with Society is Ready to Consult

The Qual-AI-ty Engagement project is launching the Compendium of Good Practices on Student Engagement with Society. This compendium highlights cases from Germany, Ireland, Latvia, Malta, Spain, and the Netherlands, and how these diverse higher education institutions implement practices to facilitate students' interaction with society.

Student engagement with society as an established practice in Europe is just at an infancy stage. In order to prepare the future-change makers, higher education institutions must have a clear vision of what to achieve on this topic. To fit this purpose, the Qua-AI-ty Engagement Project has mapped and identified strategies and approaches fostering student engagement with society in different countries. This Compendium of Good Practices presents the background of each institution, the motivations, stakeholders, inputs, strategies, outputs, impacts, strengths, weaknesses, sustainability measures, and transferability elements. The twelve good practices available are:

Student engagement with society is a growing urgency due to its positive effects on every nation's active citizenship, human and economic development. This is the belief on which Qual-AI-ty Engagement is working.
