On the 24th and 25th of June 2025, the consortium partners of the Erasmus+ project Skills4Water, met in Cardiz, Spain, for the Final Conference " International Conference on Soft Skills”, organized and hosted by the partner University of Cadiz (UCA).
The conference was composed of several sessions, opening with a welcome speech from Maria de Andrés, General Director of International Degrees and Continuing Education, University of Cadiz, followed then by a presentation from the Skills4Water project coordinator, Nina Condurache, from the University of Galati, Romania.
The conference included a keynote speech from Naomi Timmer, the H2O People partner, who conducted also all the training sessions through the implementation of the project and a session on networking, also conducted by Naomi.
One of the highlights at the conference was the SKILLS4Water Round Table to which project partners from all partners organization participated in an enriching discussion to showcase the achieved results from the project.
However, what really made this event unforgettable were the series of presentations presented by UCA students on their personal and academic experiences developing their soft skills: truly inspiring!
In the afternoon, two more sessions took place: first, the Round Table with UCA members who brilliantly discussed the topic of soft skills from different perspectives: a student, a professor, a headmaster, and a researcher.
The Final Conference ended with the award ceremony of the students presentations, who received different grants to access conferences and events for their academic and personal development.
It was an amazing experience to work together with so many different partners and we look forward to continuing our cooperation with them!
