On 11 June 2025, ACEEU joined PeerCollab partners in Rome for the project’s first face-to-face Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) at the University of La Sapienza. After months of online collaboration, it was energising to meet in person, exchange ideas, and shape the next phase of the project together.
Partners reflected on the first seven months of PeerCollab. Insights flowed freely, challenges were discussed openly, and everyone shared their perspectives on how to strengthen peer learning and collaboration in higher education. A key moment was the presentation of the first draft of the Peer Assessment Handbook, led by the University of Lodz and Francisco de Vitoria University. This resource promises to be an essential tool for institutions looking to make peer-based learning more effective and engaging.
ACEEU played a central role throughout the meeting, particularly in discussions on dissemination and communication. Together with The Square Dot Team, ACEEU explored ways to make the project more visible and engaging online, craft compelling stories for social media and blogs, and reach educators, students, and institutions across Europe in meaningful ways. The focus was not just on sharing information, but on building a genuine connection with the wider higher education community.
The meeting highlighted the value of working together, and PeerCollab will continue developing peer learning networks across Europe.
