ACEEU is excited to share the launch one of our most recent Erasmus+ projects, DEEPBIOTECH, an initiative aimed at transforming biotechnology education across Europe. The project focuses on bridging the gap between higher education and the rapidly evolving biotechnology sector by fostering digital and entrepreneurial competences among students, researchers, and higher education professionals.
The project officially began with an online kick-off meeting, which brought together consortium partners from six countries (Poland, Serbia, Romania, Greece, Türkiye, and Germany) to align on objectives, structure, and the work plan. The consortium represents a diverse collaboration of higher education institutions, research centres, and innovation-driven organisations, all committed to advancing skills development and strengthening the link between academia, industry, and society.
Through DEEPBIOTECH, ACEEU and its partners will develop innovative learning resources, practical training opportunities, and collaborative networks, ensuring that biotechnology education is more future-oriented, engaging, and impactful. ACEEU will also play a key role in dissemination, leveraging its expertise in entrepreneurial and engaged university transformation to maximise the project’s long-term impact.
Stay tuned for more updates as DEEPBIOTECH takes off and begins shaping the next generation of biotechnology talent!
