The DEEPBIOTECH Project has reached an important milestone in developing its innovative educational offerings for life science students. Over the past months, partners have united efforts to develop micro-credential courses that are designed to equip students with entrepreneurial and managerial skills, preparing them to thrive in Europe’s growing innovation ecosystem.
The project consortium gathered on 27 May 2025 in Athens, Greece, for its second transnational meeting to support the ongoing progress. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to review achievements, align on next steps, and ensure the continued quality and impact of the project’s outputs.
As the leader of Work Package 3: Transformational Toolkit for University Lecturers and Administrators and Work Package 5: Dissemination, Exploitation and Impact, ACEEU presented its ongoing work and strategy for the coming months. The aim is to maintain both high-quality progress and strong visibility for project outcomes.
Looking ahead, the consortium is preparing to launch the Deep Tech Entrepreneurship for Life Science Higher Education Courses and organise Deep Tech Immersion Hackathons to engage students, researchers and educators, while further developing the micro-credentials framework.
DEEPBIOTECH remains committed to transforming biotechnology education and training over 300 students in entrepreneurial deep tech competences.
Stay tuned for more updates as the project continues to make an impact!
