ACEEU finally had the opportunity to meet with MyDigiCoop partners face-to-face after working together for almost 2 year as its final transnational project meeting was held at Mondragon University in Bilbao, Spain. Hosted by HUHEZI, the event was organized on February 10, 2023 and attended by project partners.
As MyDigiCoop project is finishing at the end of February 2023, the meeting offered an opportunity for partners to discuss the final steps before concluding the project including the administrative aspects and finalizing the main outputs of the project. As one of the objectives of the project is to enhance collaboration and synergy between higher education institutions and public and private companies, the final TPM of the project also provided the opportunity for partners to evaluate and reflect if the objective has been met and how to further promote this once the project funding ends. During the visit at Mondragon, partners also had a chance to visit a Mondragon Coorporation, the world leader in the co-operative movement and the largest business group in the Basque Country and the tenth largest in Spain, to see how social cooperative entrepreneurship is implemented both locally and internationally.
Overall, the meeting generated a great impact as not only the partners could synergize their work and efforts in concluding the project and at the some time strengthen the network that nurtures sustainable collaboration among involved partners and associated partners and relevant stakeholders. The MyDigiCoop project partners left the meeting with a sense of inspiration to continue promoting social-cooperative entrepreneurship in higher education and a better understanding how to better implement and disseminate the project's key findings in the future.
