ACEEU continues to promote engagement with the SHIFT Project and seek synergies with other Erasmus+ initiatives advancing engagement, sustainability, and social impact. For example, on 8 October 2025, SHIFT was showcased to the Collaboration Compass (COCO) project consortium as an example of ACEEU projects that promote engagement between higher education and civil society.
Building on the momentum, the SHIFT project engaged in the PeerCollab Erasmus+ Project webinar, organised as part of the 2025 #ErasmusDays celebration. The session gathered 25 academics and higher-education professionals from Spain, Germany, Italy, Belgium, and Romania to explore the role of peer assessment in enhancing engagement and student success.
The webinar offered a chance for ACEEU to showcase SHIFT as an example of how universities can extend engagement beyond the classroom by connecting learning with real-world sustainability challenges. For example, through the SHIFT ESG Impact Index Open-Access Platform, University ESG Awareness Game, and Mini Learning OERs, higher education institutions can embed ESG principles into teaching, research, and operations.
By engaging with COCO and PeerCollab, SHIFT continues to be a reference point for projects fostering ESG in higher education institutions. The engagements amplified the visibility of the project and laid the foundation for future collaboration and knowledge exchange, reinforcing ACEEU’s commitment to fostering engagement in higher education.
