ACEEU continues to take active steps to promote education on sustainability and climate resilience through its ongoing initiatives in higher education. This commitment was reflected in its recent 2025 Global ACEEU Forum, held on 9–12 September 2025 in Prague, Czech Republic. Organised by ACEEU and hosted by the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU), the event brought together 153 participants from 42 countries, promoting dialogue and collaboration on entrepreneurship, engagement, and innovation in higher education.
Other than inspiring panel discussions, participants at the Forum shared their stories in a Pecha Kucha format, highlighting how their initiatives and work have created meaningful impact. In addition, 25+ initiatives were showcased through poster presentations, including the RISE UP Project.
RISE UP seeks to identify the skills and knowledge required to support students in developing climate resilience, equipping higher education professionals with the tools to foster meaningful change. By positioning higher education as a catalyst for personal and ecological transformation, RISE UP demonstrates how EU-funded initiatives can empower the next generation to face environmental challenges with confidence and purpose.
As the Project Coordinator, ACEEU is proud to bring the RISE UP Project to an international level, not only to communicate the project’s vision and mission but also to inspire and prepare the next generation to build a more sustainable and resilient future.
