On 19–20 May 2026, ACEEU hosted the fourth TPM of the DIGISTAINABILITY project, which took place in Münster, Germany.
The project aims to address sustainability and digitalization challenges in Europe’s marketing sector. It focuses on identifying essential digital and sustainability skills for marketing professionals, adapting VET and higher education curricula, and providing specific training courses.
The meeting brought together representatives from partner institutions in Spain, Italy, Germany, Bulgaria, and Portugal. Over the course of two days, the partners reviewed the progress made in the project and coordinated the next action steps.
A significant portion of the meeting was devoted to finalising the learning materials being developed in the project. Partners reviewed the content, discussed what further refinements were needed, and worked collectively to ensure that the resources would be practical, accessible, and genuinely useful for students, educators, and professionals across Europe.
The consortium also made notable progress on the design of six DIGISTAINABILITY micro-credentials: Digital Responsibility; Circular Marketing and Responsible Innovation; Leadership and Advocacy; Sustainable Intelligence; Ethical and Inclusive Communication; and Sustainability and Accountability. The micro-credentials are designed to help learners develop and demonstrate competencies related to digital and sustainable marketing through flexible, self-paced online learning.
As the host of the meeting and one of the project partners, ACEEU facilitated discussions and offered a collaborative setting for partners to align on the remaining tasks and priorities. Beyond the practical outcomes, the meeting reaffirmed the consortium’s shared dedication to equipping students and professionals with the skills they will need to respond to the needs and expectations of the marketing sector.
With the project now moving into its piloting phase, partners left Münster with a clear plan for testing the micro-credentials with marketing professionals.
