The Digistainability project has reached a new key milestone! Following months of research and collaboration, the consortium has successfully completed its content analysis, providing the evidence needed to shape the next phase of the project.
The analysis examined marketing programmes across Germany, Portugal, Italy, Spain, and Bulgaria to identify how digital and sustainability competences are currently addressed at Bachelor's, Master's, and VET levels. The findings provide a strong foundation for developing educational materials that better reflect the skills required in an evolving marketing landscape.
ACEEU played a leading role in this milestone by coordinating the content analysis and supporting the development of the methodology used to assess the programmes. Through expertise in quality assurance and higher education innovation, ACEEU helped ensure that the findings provide a robust evidence base for the project's future work.
Building on these insights, the Digistainability consortium will now begin developing competence-based learning materials and micro-credentials that align with the needs of learners, educators, and employers. These resources will be piloted with students, refined through feedback, and supported by a train-the-trainer programme to help educators integrate them into their teaching. To maximise their impact across Europe, the materials will also be translated and adapted for use in different national contexts.
The results of the content analysis will be published on the Digistainability website in the coming months, offering valuable insights into the current state of digital and sustainability education in marketing. Stay tuned as the project moves into this exciting new phase.
