As digital transformation and sustainability continue to reshape the marketing profession, the demand for flexible and practical learning is growing. Micro-credentials are emerging as an effective way for professionals and students to develop in-demand skills and demonstrate their expertise in a rapidly changing labour market.
To address this need, the Digistainability project has entered a new phase focused on developing standalone micro-credentials in sustainable and digital marketing. The courses will cover topics such as green branding, ESG communication, and digital marketing, equipping learners with practical skills that respond to today's industry needs.
The micro-credentials will be aligned with the European Digital Competence Framework (DigComp) and the European Sustainability Competence Framework (GreenComp), ensuring they provide trusted, recognised evidence of learners' competencies across Europe.
As part of this work, ACEEU will lead the development of the courses and the micro-credentials framework, shaping how the learning experiences are structured, assessed, and recognised. Working alongside the project partners, ACEEU will also support the adaptation of educational materials into practical learning units and contribute to the development of the online platform that will deliver the courses and manage the certification process.
This milestone marks an important step for the Digistainability project. By combining digital marketing, sustainability, and innovative learning approaches, the project aims to make marketing education more accessible, flexible, and relevant to learners' and employers' needs across Europe.
