On 2–3 July 2026, the ECO-merce consortium gathered in Vienna for the Second Transnational Project Meeting, hosted by the ISEKI-Food Association. The meeting marked an important achievement for the project, bringing the project partners together to review progress, key achievements, and plan the next steps towards developing innovative training resources for sustainable agri-food e-commerce.
During the first day, partners reviewed the Skills Needs Analysis Report, the Competence List, and the final draft of the ECO-merce Skills Framework, which identify the knowledge, skills, and competences needed to support sustainable marketing in e-commerce skills while strengthening the digital and green transition of the agri-food sector. These outputs will now serve as the foundation for the development of the project's training curriculum, ensuring that future learning materials reflect both industry needs and emerging sustainability challenges.
The second day of the meeting featured ACEEU’s interactive synergy workshop that encouraged partners to explore concrete opportunities to promote the project and connect with other initiatives and stakeholders across countries and industries. During the workshop partners shared their expertise and discussed broadly how to connect ongoing activities with envisioned impact, ensuring sustainability of the results.
During the last monthy, ACEEU has played a leading role iby coordinating the development of the Consumer Persona Cards and Consumer Value Map, and of the ECO-merce Skills Framework. With expertise in competence-based education, ACEEU has helped ensure that the project's outputs are evidence-based, learner-centred, and aligned with European competence frameworks.
With the skills identification phase successfully completed, the ECO-merce consortium now moves forward with the development of its training programme. The discussions in Vienna have reinforced the project's shared commitment to equipping learners and professionals with the competences needed to drive more sustainable and innovative agri-food e-commerce across Europe.
