DEEPBIOTECH Partners Met in Türkiye to Discuss the Progress of the Project – Specifically the Finalisation of Two Sets of Micro-Credentials (for Students and Teachers), with ACEEU Leading WP3 (Toolkit for University Staff)

The DEEPBIOTECH project is reaching another important milestone! While innovative learning resources can make a lasting impact, it is essential that they are accessible, recognised, and designed to meet the needs of learners. As DEEPBIOTECH moves into its next phase, the project is taking an important step towards achieving this goal through the launch of its micro-credentials in life sciences.

Over the past months, under ACEEU's guidance, the consortium has worked collaboratively to develop a comprehensive portfolio of educational resources, including presentations, booklets, and video-based learning materials. These resources have now been finalised and uploaded to the project's learning platform, providing the foundation for a flexible and engaging learning experience.

At this stage, the partners are preparing to launch the certification process, enabling students from participating higher education institutions to complete the courses and earn recognised micro-credentials. This phase is essential to supporting flexible learning pathways and helping students develop specialised knowledge in biotechnology and related fields.

ACEEU plays a key role in this phase by leading the dissemination of the project's educational resources and micro-credentials. Working closely with the consortium, ACEEU supports communication activities that promote these learning opportunities to higher education institutions, students, and other stakeholders, helping maximise the visibility and long-term impact of the project.

The launch of the micro-credentials represents another important milestone for DEEPBIOTECH. By combining innovative digital learning resources with recognised certification, the project is helping make biotechnology education more accessible, flexible, and responsive to the needs of Europe's future workforce.
