The Erasmus+ Universities – communities: strengthening cooperation (UNICOM) project continues to promote international collaboration and knowledge exchange. On 14-15 November 2024, the project's achievements were presented at the II International Conference "Strengthening the Quality and Relevance of the 3rd Mission in Georgian Universities", hosted by Caucasus University in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Representing Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Melitopol State Pedagogical University, Associate Professor Tetiana Konovalenko presented the progress of the UNICOM project, highlighting its objectives, key achievements, and ongoing efforts to strengthen the Third Mission in Ukrainian universities. The presentation also demonstrated how the project has expanded cooperation with stakeholders, supported public initiatives, and encouraged more community-oriented university engagement.
The conference provided an opportunity to share the experience of Ukrainian higher education institutions in working with communities and public authorities, while also exploring the results of the Erasmus+ project "Strengthening the Quality and Relevance of the 3rd Mission in Georgian Universities." This exchange of experience created new opportunities for cooperation and reinforced the value of international partnerships in advancing the Third Mission of universities.
As the project's Quality Assurance Partner, ACEEU is pleased to see UNICOM's achievements shared with the wider international higher education community. Such opportunities strengthen connections between Erasmus+ initiatives and contribute to the continued development of the project.
