From 9-12 September, the Czech University of Life Sciences hosted the 2025 ACEEU Forum and Triple E Awards , welcoming 153 participants from 42 different countries.
The gathering brought together academics, researchers, university leaders, administrators, and other higher education professionals.
Across three days, participants exchanged perspectives on how higher education institutions can stay relevant, resilient, and impactful amid accelerating shifts in technology and societal expectations.
The forum blended research tours, keynote sessions, and EU funding workshops. It also promoted innovative projects shaping the higher education sector.
One highlight among the showcased projects was the ANGIE Erasmus+ Project, which aims to:
— Create an academic network to raise climate awareness and promote low-carbon WATERIC (Waste, Agriculture, Transportation, Energy, Residential, Industrial, and Construction) processes.
— Develop a harmonised graduate study program on green technologies for a sustainable society.
— Strengthen competencies of industry professionals and trainers while enhancing career prospects and practical engagement.
By positioning students, educators, and youth workers as true agents of change, ANGIE stood out as a good example of how higher education institutions can contribute to the green transition.
