Highlights from the YHELD September 2025 Project Meeting

On 18 September 2025, YHELD project partners, including ACEEU, gathered for the monthly consortium meeting. Discussions focused on three main topics: the project extension, implementation of upcoming training courses, and financial progress.

Main Updates
- Three deliverables (D2.1, D2.2, and D5.1) have been successfully submitted, while four others are currently being finalised.
- Partners shared new approaches to enhance internationalization within the participating institutions.
- The consortium agreed to organize in-person training courses later this year, with Cairo (Egypt) and Amman (Jordan) proposed as potential hosting cities. The Yemeni partners expressed their intention to discuss internally and finalize their preference for the training, which is scheduled to take place in November 2025.

In the next steps, the consortium will confirm training dates and session topics in the coming weeks.

The YHELD consortium remains committed to achieving the project’s goals, strengthening the institutional capacity of Yemeni universities, and enhancing their international engagement.
