YHELD Training Set to Take Place in Cairo

The YHELD consortium held its virtual monthly meeting on 16 October 2025 to review progress on the partnership agreement amendment and prepare for the upcoming training courses. Partners reaffirmed their shared commitment to timely coordination and effective delivery as the consortium awaits official approval from the European Commission.

During the meeting, partners discussed proposed dates between late November 2025 and early January 2026 for the training to be hosted by Cairo University in Egypt. The training will bring together participants from Abyan University, University of Aden, Al-Adel University, Hadhramout University, Lahej University, Seiyun University, University of Shabwa, and Taiz University to strengthen institutional capacities for internationalisation in higher education.

ACEEU conducted an assessment of the capacity needs of partner universities and identified their strengths, challenges, and opportunities for development. Insights from the assessment will guide the upcoming training and support the universities in building sustainable, globally connected institutions.
